The recipe we are sharing with you is healthy, yummy, and spicy too. So without further ado, let’s discuss. 


  • Oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon 
  • Chana Dal – 1 cup 
  • Salt – ½ teaspoon 
  • Cayenne Powder – 1 teaspoon  
  • Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon 
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons (chopped)
  • Hemp seeds and flax seeds –  2 tablespoons (ground)

Prep Time – 10 minutes 

Cooking Time – 10 -15 minutes 


Making Chana Dal Mixture is extremely easy and requires minimal cooking skills. Below are some steps that might help you in the preparation. 

  1. Heat a pan and add some oil 
  2. Once the oil gets hot enough, add cumin seeds 
  3. The cumin seeds will start spluttering 
  4. Now add chana dal 
  5. Sprinkle salt and spices like cayenne powder, coriander powder
  6. Now garnish with some coriander leaves 
  7. Don’t forget to add hemp and flax seeds mixture 
  8. Your perfect bowl of healthy snacks is ready.
