Hello guys! Up for a pleasant surprise? How about a nutritious, healthy vegan, diabetic-friendly, beginner, and bachelor-friendly recipe?

Green leafy vegetables have always been a household favorite. We believe our aloo and green cholai bhaji is definitely going to be a hit.  Also, you can make and serve this veggie with chapati/rice daily. Furthermore, it is quick and easy to prepare with few readily available ingredients. So, let’s start making Aloo Green Cholai Bhaji together!

Ingredients 

  • Coconut cold-pressed oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Carom seed – 1 teaspoon
  • Fenugreek seed – 1 tablespoon ( sprouted)
  • Crushed garlic – 1 teaspoon
  • Medium onion – 1 ( finely chopped )
  • Rock salt -1 teaspoon
  • Unpeeled potato- 1 cup ( small pieces )
  • Green chili – 1 (Chopped)
  • Cayenne pepper – 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red tomatoes – 1/2 cup ( chopped )
  • Green amaranth Leaves – 2 cups

Instructions 

  • Take a cooking pan, add coconut cold-pressed oil, carom seeds, and fenugreek seeds, and roast well.
  • Now add crushed garlic and a medium onion, finely chopped along with rock salt, and roast them well.
  • Now add unpeeled potato, chopped green chili, Cayenne pepper, and turmeric powder 
  • Mix all the ingredients very well.
  • Cover the pan and cook till the potatoes get soft. 
  • Now add tomatoes and mix well.
  • Add finely chopped green choulai and mix all very well.
  • Now cover the cooking Pan for 5 minutes so that the potatoes get cooked well.
  • Make sure choulai leaves, potato, and all the spices have been mixed well and the water has dried up. 
  • Turn Off the flame.
  • Voila!!  Cholai bhaji is ready to serve.
